The cottage was in a great location, surrounded by beautiful grounds and with a peaceful atmosphere. the hosts were friendly and accommodating, and they even made up an extra bed for our little one. the bed was comfortable and the cottage had everything we needed. We also enjoyed the view from the cottage, and even spotted a deer on the first evening. a highly recommended place to stay.
The bed in the cottage was too small for us, so one of us had to sleep downstairs for some personal space. the lack of heating in the kitchen made it feel cold, and even the fridge seemed warmer than usual.

Easy to find, well-maintained property with a cart lodge for our car. Nicely decorated and clean, with a quirky feel. Warm upstairs bedroom, good view of garden, well-equipped kitchen. Beautiful setting with extensive grounds. Quiet and relaxing. Comfortable, well-furnished property done to a high standard. Friendly and helpful owners. Close to lovely places to visit. Hope to return and fully enjoy this beautiful property. Thank you, Bruce!

I enjoyed the free WiFi and garden views. Parking was a breeze. The Lodge had a washing machine, so I could wash my clothes and not have to smell like a farm animal after my countryside adventure.
Ah, just what I wanted, a tiny towel that barely covers my dignity. How charming.

The room at The Lodge at Briar House felt cozy and homey, with its warm color scheme and comfy furniture. It made me feel instantly relaxed after a long day of traveling. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, and I loved how clean and well-maintained everything was.
Personally, I found the shower pressure a bit weak. Others might not mind it, but for me, it was a small inconvenience.

I recently stayed at The Lodge At Briar House and had a wonderful experience. The cottage is located in a beautiful spot, surrounded by large grounds that resemble a parkland. It was perfect for my dog to run around and explore, while I enjoyed sitting by the peaceful pond. The cottage itself exceeded my expectations with its spaciousness and comfort. Despite the chill in the air, the upstairs bedroom provided a cozy retreat. The property is well-maintained and decorated with a charming, quirky touch. The kitchen is well-equipped, though I didn't utilize it much. The owners were accommodating and friendly, ensuring that my stay was enjoyable. I highly recommend this place for a relaxing and scenic getaway.
